Intern (Workshop Apprentice)

Role Profile

Workshop Apprentice Interns assist our Workshop Leaders in delivering our interactive Internet safety workshops to a number of schools across the UK to pupils aged 4-18.  

About NetSmart

We want to deliver the best e-safety training to students; we are passionate about improving students’ lives when online. Our workshop content covers topics such as: bullying, gaming, stranger awareness and many more! Our workshops aim to be highly interactive and highly tailored to each age group. Teaching material will be kept up to date with the current trends. Our end-goal is to teach students how to avoid those online perils, but to also have fun whilst doing so!

The Role

This internship will not comprise of making tea; you will be learning real life work skills that will help further your career. Activities include:

  1. Workshop planning,

  2. Workshop set-up,

  3. Teaching (with groups),

  4. Assistance with presentations to the class.


This is a highly rewarding, fun role that can be flexible around any other commitments you may have. Travel is required and paid for by the company. This internship is unpaid, but references will be provided, with the possibility of job offers and study sponsorship.


The Individual

We are looking for smart, kind/caring individuals with a passion for teaching children. Candidates often want to pursue careers in teaching, theatre productions, event planning and many more. Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  1. Teaching abilities,

  2. Presentation skills,

  3. A good sense of humour!
